DOULA SERVICES

Postpartum doula services are tailored to the individual and unique needs of each family.  These services may include: 

· Providing evidence-based information regarding newborn care, Mom’s recovery, and breastfeeding

· Providing a sympathetic and knowledgeable ear as well as strategies for Moms dealing with postpartum depression and anxiety

· Assisting with basic household needs, e.g.; washing dishes, laundry, and providing meals

· Connecting to local resources and support groups

· Caring for baby while new Moms catch up on much needed rest

· Providing care for older siblings

POSTPARTUM SERVICES*

 Birth doula services include:

·  2-3 prenatal meetings so we can get to know each other and I can learn about your wishes and preferences for birth

· Unlimited phone and e-mail support throughout your pregnancy and 24-hour availability two weeks before your estimated due date until you deliver  

· Continuous informational, emotional, and physical support throughout labor and delivery

· One postpartum visit to assist you in processing your birth experience and to admire your baby
